Description
"The Lucky Seven" is a 4 minute, karaoke style video, that students can sing along with to help memorize their "sevens" multiplication facts. The music has a "bluegrass" style and the math facts are presented within the theme of the California Gold Rush.
With it's integration of music, math, reading, history, and video animation, you can use it as daily practice, part of a lesson, an introduction to the Gold Rush, PE warmup, clean-up song, or just for fun.
I play the videos on an interactive whiteboard in my classroom, but any computer, iPad, or iPod type device will work as well.
The preview above is at a lower quality than the actual video due to size requirements.
Special note: Windows Media Player needs a free codec pack installed to play mp4 files. It is available online. I highly recommend the free VLC media player.
