This script is used during a unit on severe weather. After learning about the weather, how it forms, and ways to stay safe, students complete a weather report. Each student has a job, camera operator, anchor, director, or producer. The students choose their weather event, write their script, design their background, and film their report using tablets. The videos are later played for the class.

If you class doesn't have tablets to film the report, this would be great to use as a live presentation. It could even be used as a readers theater once the students have written the scripts.

This serves as a great culminating project that relates to real life and jobs that students may actually one day hold.
