Description

Learn all about the patterns in the movment of the sun with this lab activity! With this lesson, students will explore:

  • A model of a sun dial (so that you don't have to be going outside at different times of the day).
  • How to model how the sun appears to moves across the sky
  • The patterns in the shadows' length during the day

Students will be asked to set up a model and observe the patterns in how the sun appears to move across the sky in action.
