Use these Repeating Patterns Strips at your 1st grade math center, in morning tubs, for independent practice, or small group lessons.
Students extend each shape pattern on the strips. The patterns have several attributes that change: shape, colour, direction and size.
This resource comes with 30 colour pattern strips and a student recording sheet.
The patterns included are: AB, ABB, AAB, AABB, ABC, ABCD, ABBC, ABCC, ABCB, ABACC, ABCDCB, & ABAAB.
Students can draw the next shape on the strip, on the recording sheet, or place a shape card on the strip.
