This Shape Word Matching Interactive Digital Task Card activity is an e-learning resources that can be used for students for Special Education including Autism. These digital cards can be e-mailed to parents to be used for e-learning opportunities. These digital task cards can also be used during small group instruction, 1:1 work, or independent work. The interactive PDF can be downloaded and used on an iPad, iPhone, tablet, computer, or Interactive Whiteboard (Smartboard.)

The interactive digital task cards are self-checking. When the student presses the correct matching button, the interactive PDF will link to a correct page with praise. If incorrect, a “try again” page will redirect the student back to the task card. At the end of the activity, a motivating video link is provided that reinforces the skill being taught or practiced.

These word cards teach in a sequence to encourage success. First, First students match identical words, then see the matching word and picture, then match the picture to the word.
