This book includes the following math skills/life skills tie-ins in each of its pages:

Putting clothes "away" based on their color (velcro pieces)

Matching real objects to their 2D shape (three exemplars for each shape)

Tracing shapes

Identifying 3D objects in a larger context

Matching the name of shapes (trapezoid, oval, triangle, square) to a real photo of the shape

Using the environment to look for objects and drawing what we see
