The shapes activity and progress monitoring file folder in an excellent way to provide students with practice identifying shapes and a way for teacher’s to easily monitor student progress in identifying the following 8 shapes: oval, circle, rectangle, star, diamond, triangle, heart, & square.

The name on the front of the folder is editable so that you can customize it for each of your students.

*2 pockets for students to keep track of which shapes they already know and which ones they are working on
*Area on the file folder to lay out the shapes to practice identifying them (I used Velcro dots)
*Student self-assessment: students will check off the shapes they practice each day
*Teacher Progress Monitoring: teacher can assess student and record # of shapes identified
*Progress Monitoring Chart: teacher and/or student can chart student’s progress for a visual of the progress that students are making. This is great to show parents!
