This resource contains short a word families as part of the Rhyming Mini Lessons Series. Students are introduced to some word families and are given the opportunity to practice identifying, producing, and then generating rhymes with that short a sound.
This resource provides a complete 15-minute lesson that helps students recognize and identify rhyming words with the short A vowel sound through teacher modeling, guided practice, and student participation.
