~ Students sort word family words into pockets where they can pull them out anytime to practice!
~Students read short vowel CVC words and sort them under real or nonsense word flaps.
~Students make a short a flip page where they can write the word under the picture or write a list of words from the word family.
~Students match CVC words to the pictures.
~Students fill in boxes to spell CVC words.
~Students work on one word family at a time, writing the word that goes with the picture. They can also create their own word family picture flaps!
