Description
Give your high school geometry students practice applying the Side-Splitter Theorem (also known as the Triangle Proportionality Theorem) with this self-grading Google Form. This practice assignment includes 8 questions to determine if the segment inside the triangle is parallel to the third side, and to solve for x by applying the theorem. Printable worksheet is also included to provide more options.
✦ Here is the breakdown of practice problems:
- 2 questions to determine if segment is parallel to the third side
- 6 questions solving for x
- 2 of the 6 solve for x questions include binomials
Printable worksheet version of problems is included for students that come to class without their computer, or as a differentiation option. Instead of using a dry erase board or scrap paper to complete their work, students can use the worksheet where they can mark their diagrams. Then students can enter each answer to check if they’re correct.
