Sight Word Bear Hunt (Distance Learning)
Share

Description

This activity is perfect for distance learning. There’s a grumpy bear in the forest. Have all of the students stand up. Students each take a turn saying the shown sight word on the slide. When a student gets one of the “Grumpy Bear” picture slides everyone will say “Grumpy Bear” and that student is out of the game and sits down. The game gets really exciting as fewer students remain standing.  On the next slide, introduce students to the Happy Forest. I like to have them put on their binoculars (using hand motions glasses) before we begin our journey! The last student standing is the winner. Watch out for Grumpy Bear! Have fun!

Great for Zoom and Distance Learning!
