This color by sight word packet is a fantastic tool for getting more sight word practice! The best part is that students won't even know they are practicing their sight words! We all have those kiddos who aren't motivated to practice sight words, so why not give them a fun and engaging means of practicing?!
This packet has been redesigned to focus on the same 10-11 sight words for added effectiveness! Each coloring page in this pack rotates the following words: of, his, had, him, her, some, as, then, could, when.
Students use the coloring key provided on the coloring page to determine what color each word should be colored. Then, they look for that word to color it that color. Not only are they reading sight words over and over, but you are also reinforcing reading color words (which are also on the primer sight word list)!
I have used this packet for reading centers, morning work, homework packets, and for early finishers!
This packet is aligned to the Dolch First Grade Sight Word List, but can be suitable for Kindergarten students who need to stretch into higher level words or as a review in Second Grade!
