A lot of Chemistry and Physics courses in high school and college start with a discussion of measurement and significant digits. Many Chemistry and Physics students start out surprisingly weak at rounding numbers to the desired place. This form makes students practice rounding and the significant figure rules.

I made every question short answer and tried to make the directions clear so that students know how to type the answers. This would be great as a quiz or online homework. I put in an answer key, so it should grade automatically with no problems.

This is a worksheet I would use as a quiz or extended homework once my students have already seen and practiced all five rules.
