The Alternative Way To Pre-K is dedicated to accessibility, neurodiverse-affirming practices, and creating a more inclusive world by supporting educators, paraprofessionals, related service providers, parents/guardians, and students.
I aim to empower you to effectively implement equitable practices and support all learners through developmentally appropriate practice, alternative augmentative communication, progress over perfection, and resources that meet your student's unique skill set.
I taught special education preschool in the public school system in a self-contained classroom for nine years. I am now a learning support specialist in a private preschool, where I continue to serve and advocate for the special education, neurodiverse, and disability communities.
