How to use these cards with younger students...

  • These cards can be used for labeling pictures. Playing a game where they label the two pictures on the card and then they get a piece of a puzzle or a coin to put in a piggy bank.
  • You can work on receptive language by showing the client the card and asking where a certain item is.

How to use these cards with elementary students...

  • You can focus on having the student explain one similarity and difference between the two items.
  • You can work on having the student identify categories and functions of the two items.
