Description
This 40 page resource was designed for those children in the Kindergarten and First Grade who can read simple words and work independently to complete the tasks.
There are 40 pages (20 of addition and 20 of subtraction) with two word problems on each.
The children should read the word problem first, write the numbers to create the number sentence and then draw the word problem. It may be easier for the child to draw the elements first to help determine the number sentence.
For the subtraction problems, the child should simply cross out the number of elements that are being “taken away”. An example page is provided at the end of the booklet.
