Description

You can shift your students to digital work systems and task boxes, even when they just need basic put-in tasks. These engaging digital work baskets are designed to be used with Google Slides and/or PowerPoint to help students who need very simple, somewhat errorless tasks to complete sets of tasks independently. Plus they are easy to differentiate for the different students in your class.

Who Is This For?

These slide-based drag and drop tasks are great for any age students, typically in special education, who need simple 1-step tasks to learn to complete a series of tasks independently.

Skills Addressed

  • Completing individual or sequences of tasks independently (within an independent work system).
  • Using touch screen or computer mouse to drag and drop items with computer or tablet

  • 10 PowerPoint and Google Slides, each with a drag and drop put-in task putting:
    • Blocks in bin
    • Buttons in a cup
    • Pencils in a cup
    • Pennies in a piggy bank
    • Candles in a cake
    • Eggs in a pan

    • Flowers in dirt
    • Cookies on a cookie sheet
    • Donuts in a box

  • Instructions on how to implement them digitally in distance learning

  • The tasks are simple with visual and written directions.

  • You can also modify them to meet your students needs by removing the number of manipulatives.
  • These can easily be inserted into the Digital Independent Work System
