This is a fun simple machine challenge project letter. It includes a list of simple machines students can choose to use for their presentation. It also gives them the option of combining simple machines to create a chain reaction. The grading rubric is listed on the challenge page as well. I used this with my second graders and it was so much fun seeing their amazing ideas.
