Simple machine series is a bundle of activities that includes booklet, guided reading activities, word search, research, labs and vocabulary that captures learners attention and engages them in deeper thinking about the machines in their daily life.

By the end of the study students should be able to: Identify simple and compound machines around them, describe how they are used, compare and contrast different machines, differentiate between mechanical advantage and efficiency, and analyze compound machines by identifying simple machines forms them.
