☼ Interactive Notebook Activity • Differentiated ☼
• Choose between 3 different options for an interactive notebook activity for each simple machine. The task increases in difficulty allowing for differentiation.
• Option 1: Pre-organized pages (1 per simple machine). Add to science notebooks and identify each object. Word Bank is included to help with this task.
• Option 2: Cut and glue the examples onto each flap of the interactive notebook page. Identify each object under the flap and tell why it's used.
• Option 3: Cut and glue the correct examples onto each flap of the interactive notebook page. Identify each object under the flap and tell why it's useful.

- Travelling a far distance (wheel and axle)
- Construction zone (wedge, lever, wheel and axle, inclined plane, gear, pulley)
- Building a treehouse (screw, lever)
- Playing a keyboard / piano (lever)
- Cutting a pizza (wheel and axle)
- Riding a skateboard (lever, wheel and axle)
- Using a see-saw (lever)
- Going down a slide (inclined plane)
- Blender, toaster / kitchen appliances (gear, lever)
