Description
Simple machines are the lead into many concept based science inquiries. It is my hope that you find these posters useful as a part of your inquiry into simple machines, forces and motion. The concept of simple machines is presented through the key concepts of Form and Function. You will find a coloured version together with a black and white version.
These posters are a part of my complete unit of inquiry in forces and motion. This is a 6 week , transdisciplinary unit that is jam-packed with inquiry-based activities covering science, maths and literacy, as well as the IB PYP Approaches to Learning Skills, with over 200 pages investigating the related concepts of machines, forces & motion, scientific principles and much more. Click here to take a look.
You may also be interested in other units of inquiry that I have created for my upper elementary students.
