This series of worksheets teaches basic ABAB patterns as well as ABBA and AABAA patterns to early learners. This download comes with 1 page of ABA pattern completion where the learner fills in two blanks. The second page is a continuation of the first page, but has the learner complete three missing components instead of two. Page 3 increases the difficulty by changing the pattern to a ABBA or AABA pattern and prompting the student to complete two missing components. Page 4 is a continuation of page 3, but has the student complete 3 missing components. The fifth page offers the token pieces to add to the boxes on the pattern worksheets in order for the student to complete the assignment.
