I can see how this will continue to help my students become better writers. It's an excellent resource! However, one link has not worked for me. The "Answers Lesson Practice" in Step 1 does not work. If I could get access, that would be great. :)

I taught an ESL Grammar class for 1 quarter and this was the perfect resource. It's completely digital and all of the answer keys are included. There were one or two small errors where the sentences for the students didn't match the master copy. However, those were easy to fix and easily caught during prep time.

I've been teaching for 26 years and this is probably the best resource I've ever used to walk students step by step through sentence structure in a logical, methodical manner that works! I absolutely love this progression. Even my students have commented that they've never understood grammar like this. I alternate between teaching the parts of speech and these steps so that my students have the necessary background knowledge to complete each step. I did have to make some modifications to the practice assignments just to make them easier for my students to do on their Chromebooks in distance learning, but that was just delivery. My only other frustration is that some of the materials (especially the notes sheet, which students really need) are blurry, like the image was created by taking a screen shot rather than using a conversion program to convert a word doc into an image. I would LOVE cleaner, more crisp copies, but I'm just thrilled with the quality of the instruction. I am going to finish the unit by giving them sentences from their own essays and having them break them down, color coding and all. What a beautiful way to come full circle!

Thank you for all the kind words. I checked the product again, and I can assure you that I did not upload any screenshots. All of the slides were from JPEGS converted from the PDF document. I am wondering if it would work better if you enlarged each slide. Have you tried having your students click on the plus sign in the upper left and then click on the slide? (It is the 6th icon from the left.) If it continues to be an issue, please email me at charlenetess@yahoo.com. Thanks again.
