Write - Solve - Match!
This is a high‑rigor, partner‑based test‑prep activity. Part 1: Sequential Matching (Scaffolded) and Part 2: Randomized (Challenge). Students work in pairs, but each partner receives a unique set of problems. Although their questions are different, each student will have each answer match one of their partner’s answers. Their task is to solve their own problems, compare results, and identify the matching answer. This structure encourages mathematical reasoning, error analysis, and academic discussion between partners.
How Teachers Use It
- Two Ways to Play: Use Set A & B (Sequential) for guided matching. Use Set C & D (Randomized) for a harder challenge.
- Self-Checking: In a pair, students compare their answers. If the cards do not match, they know they made a mistake. They have to fix the math themselves.
- Low Prep: Just Print, Laminate, Reuse the cards!

- 40 Questions: Includes distributive property and decimals.
- Sequential Set: Card numbers match up (A01 matches B01).
