This Digital Math Boom Escape Room is targeting simplifying fractions.
Digital Boom Escape Rooms are both challenging and rewarding for your students. This Deck is NO PREP, PAPERLESS and SELF-MARKING in that the students will not be able to advance unless they crack the code.
The Story
A fraction monster has turned the world upside down and inside out by splitting everything into fractions. It is your job as a Fraction Finder to put things right.
The monster has left 6 clues for you to solve to save the world.
Learning Goals
Students can work individually, pairs or collaborate in small groups to solve each of the 6 engaging math activities, which are:
- Matching fractions to simplified fraction models, charts and pictures
- Comparing fractions to its simplified equivalent fraction
- Identifying if lowest form fractions are true or false
- Identifying and simplify fraction
- Converting fractions to their simplest form
- Matching fractions to the correct equivalent / simplified fraction diagram/picture
