Description

Print the following pages on cardstock. For durability—especially if multiple children will be using the material—laminate all the cards after cutting them out along the lines. Store the finished cards in a small box, bag, or tackle box alongside other math materials on the shelf.

How to Use:

Children will match each red problem card with the correct blue answer card.

For Concrete Work:

The child writes the problem from the red card onto a sheet of paper, uses concrete materials to solve it, finds the matching blue answer card, and then records the answer on the paper.

For Abstract Work:

The child writes the problem from the red card directly onto the paper, solves it mentally or with paper-and-pencil strategies, then finds the matching blue answer card and writes the answer on the paper
