Description
There are 40 task cards in this worksheet. All cards are numbered from 1 – 40. I suggest laminating the printed pages before cutting them out first, so they can be used again. An answer sheet is provided at the end of the task cards.
Students must examine each card, which all have a binomial and a trinomial that must be multiplied. Given that there are 40 cards, the students can complete these exercises in groups of 2, giving 4, 5, 8 or even 10 cards to each group.
I sometimes put the cards in a box andlet the students pick a card at random and calculate it. Later, when each student has completed a total of 4 or 5 or even 10 cards, they must show me their answers. Those that are finished early can help other students or continue with other questions.
