Description
Providing the answer and steps to introducing Simplifying simple Radicals/Square Roots. A quick and engaging way to Check for Understanding. Students use personal white boards, response boards, or plastic sleeves/pockets to solve, work out, and answer the given problem. I display the problem(s) from the PPT, students work the problem, and after a countdown the students are asked to raise their boards. Then I reveal the answer and process. I have the students keep tally (right and wrong) in the corner of their boards.
