"My students were engaged regardless of whether they were doing the paper or digital version. I liked that absent students could do the same practice at home that we did in class and that I only needed 1 answer key."

Description

Simplifying Rational Expressions Matching Activity - 3 Versions Available, including a Self-Checking Digital Activity

- This resource contains 10 questions for simplifying rational expressions. Students will first factor both numerator and denominator of each rational expression, and then simplify the expression by removing like factors from both the numerator and denominator. They will then rewrite the expression with the factors that remain, and leave in factored form. This is a perfect for students who need additional practice with factoring and simplifying rational expressions.

What's Included:

- Digital Click & Stretch Activity using Google Slides

  • In the digital version, students click and stretch arrows to connect questions with answer choices for each problem.

- Digital Self-Checking Activity using Google Sheets

  • In this digital version, students will type in question number next to each answer choice. The boxes will provide immediate feedback and change to green (if correct) or red (if incorrect). In addition, the pathway between the question and the answer choice will be uncovered.
