This assignment can be used in any high school level Statistics course, including AP Statistics and Probability and Statistics. The assignment contains 3 stations for conducting simulations, creating dot plots, finding probabilities from the simulation, and drawing conclusions from the simulation. One station uses a random number generator, another a random line of digits, and the third allows students to choose a simulation method. Materials needed for Station 3 may be: beads, deck of cards, dice, popsicle sticks, etc.
