✔️ Easy prep and perfect for small groups, centers, or independent practice!

How It Works:

Students grab a problem strip, use real linking cubes to model the subtraction problem, then draw and color their cube model onto the recording sheet. Finally, they write the matching subtraction sentence—voilà! Instant math success! ✍️

Please Note:

This activity is designed to be used with colorful linking cubes (not included). Students should have access to cube manipulatives in the classroom for full participation.

My autistic students are really struggling with understanding addition and subtraction. I have tried many different ways and then found this packet. This has been great for them to begin understanding how to do it.
