This is a worksheet that has 8 single step word problems that include 2 of each type of problem - addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I tried to make these word problems relatable to my students.

The students have to identify the operation they would use, then solve the problem and check it.

A key is included with the problems worked out.

I use this as progress monitoring to see how they are doing with the skills. This could be done as a practice worksheet or quiz though as well.
