Description
Explaining the correct usage for sit, set, and sat can be a bit tricky. To explain it in my classroom, I have developed this fun PowerPoint that not only explains the correct usage of each word but also uses fun animations to demonstrate the correct meaning of each word.
Once each word and its correct usage is demonstrated, fill in the blank examples are given. The sentence is read aloud with the word missing, and then I call on a student to choose the correct word (sit, sat, or set) to go in the blank. The students then practice by doing the corresponding page in their language book.
If you like the graphics that are found on this page and would like to use them, they are also available in my TPT store.

You are welcome! :)
Great resource!
Thanks! :)
The use of the name of Deity on a slide in this powerpoint is inappropriate for teaching in our school district. I deleted that slide. When presenting materials for general use, you might want to think this through again and use a different example.
Thank you for your input. See if the revision will work for you.
