Description
"Six Strong Legs" is a 5 minute, karaoke style video, that students can sing along with to help memorize their "sixes" multiplication facts. It combines engaging graphics and animations with interesting science facts about insects.
It integrates music, animation, reading, math and science.
Use the video as part of a lesson, daily practice, PE warmup, clean-up song, or just for fun. Have a "name an insect fact" contest.
I play the files on my interactive whiteboard in my classroom but any computer, iPad, or iPod type device will work as well.
The preview above is at a lower quality than the actual video due to size requirements.
Special note: Windows Media Player needs a free codec pack installed to play mp4 files. It is available online. I highly recommend the free VLC media player.
