Description
With increasing objectives for primary students to be able to skip count past 100, I created this SMARTBoard Lesson that uses two of the interactive 100's chart for students to visually see the patterns as the skip counting goes beyond 100. The charts allow the students and/or teacher to see the patterns created with skip counting.
The following pages a random number is selected and a random skip count number is selected and the student writes the patterns. There are 3 levels of increasing difficulty. Level I: Starting Number range is 1-15, Skip Count 2-6. Level II: Starting Number range 25-50, Skip Count 3-8, Level III: Starting Number 85-99, Skip Count 3-8.
A student handout is provided for students to use at their desks to follow along with the SMARTBoard Activity.
Please note that this file uses Flash in it's animation so this lesson works best in Notebook version 11.3 or below and gives you a warning message in versions 14-16 and is not supported in versions 16.3 and newer.
