Basic Plot: Sword fighting does most of the “talking” in this high action skit!  What’s not to love about that? Actors get to clash blades in this tragedy turned sentimental comedy as the newest member of this pirate ship is suspected to be “the one.” There’s only ONE way to find out! It’s training time.

Genre: Parody (Comedy)

Total Characters 4-6 : 1 Male, 5 Either Male or Female

Setting/Era: Pirate Olden Days

Length of Skit: 7-12 minutes

This skit can be purchased individually or as part of the MAD Society Variety Show or the Year Long Mega Bundle titled “Pirate Raid!“

★Find the MAD Society Pinterest board titled “Bad Form, Bad Form” for costume ideas and more!

Hints:

What will make this skit funny is for Pillage to look like a punk and the sword fighting to be well practiced and not too short. What will make it extremely impressive is if the sword fighting is choreographed and looks real. Utilize YouTube tutorials for this. The 2 optional characters (Grommet & Grub) have interchangeable and removable lines. You can let your actors pick which ones they want to say, or they could be combined and said by one actor, or Scuttle could say all the lines.
