If you're looking to teach a unit on Slam Poetry. Look no further. This unit contains a PowerPoint explaining Slam Poetry and has ten slam poets that were rated favorites by my students (you can choose your own but these are big hits). There is also a note-taking sheet plus a brainstorming sheet for students to create their own slam poem as a project for the end of the unit.
