Covering all the bases:

  • Task cards 1-15 have students find slope from two points
  • Task Cards 16-30 have students find slope from a graph
  • Options: Choose the learning style that suits you best. Two card versions are included – one with QR codes for swift self-checking and another for traditional use. You can opt for a colorful or black & white border to align with your printing preferences.

Ideas for Use:

Pair Work: Foster collaborative learning by having students work in pairs. They team up to tackle the problems, enhancing their understanding as they discuss and solve together.

Solo Sessions: For a quick-paced learning experience, distribute the cards individually and set a timer for card switching every 2 minutes. It's an engaging way to reinforce slope comprehension.

The flexibility in learning styles and comprehensive coverage make these cards an activity students will enjoy, while being equipped them with the tools they need to master slope.

My students love to get into groups. I find that they are able to speak to each other in a language I know nothing about. And I watched them help each other gain a deeper understanding through this activity. Thank you!
