Description
This template is for students practicing the slope formula. I have included both versions of the formula for students to choose the one they like best. This template has been extremely helpful when negatives are involved in the formula. If your students are anything like mine, they are more likely to forget a negative sign from a number if they see a subtraction sign in the formula. This should hopefully help with that! :)
Additional Ideas:
-Print each template on two different colored papers. This way it will make it easier for students to grab the one they prefer.
-Keep a stack of formula templates in a specific location in the classroom. As students begin to feel more comfortable with the formula they will become less reliant on the template.
