Slope Intercept Form is a major topic in Algebra. It's important that students know slope-intercept form forwards and backwards. This print-and-go activity comes with a Valentine Candy version and a regular version. It will help your students practice finding slope and y-intercept, graphing and writing equations. The Valentine version has two worksheets and a HEART to fill in for easy grading. The other worksheet is two pages and has easy-to-grade answer blanks down the side of the page. Answer keys are provided for both versions. Here are the specific types of problems:
- Write a linear equation given slope and y-intercept.
- Write a linear equation given two points.
- Write a linear equation given an equation and a point.
- Go from standard form to slope intercept form.
- Find x- and y-intercepts given an equation.
- Graph a system and list the quadrant of the intersection
