This is a perfect way to lead students through a general introduction or review for Slope-Intercept Form.

How this resource is set up:

  • Starts out with the general form of the equation, identifying the slope & y-intercept
  • 2 examples of equation where students determine the slope & y-intercept.
  • Gives the steps to write an equation from a graph
  • Finally gives steps to draw a graph given an equation.
  • Answer Key included
  • Students fill in the blanks as you go along to help them get more out of it than simply giving them all of the information.
  • Faster than having them write all of the notes themselves.

Ways to use this resource:

  • Partners or small groups to work on as a Do Now
  • Partners or small groups to work on as an Exit Ticket
  • Study guide.
  • If you fill in the examples, this could also be used as an assessment.
