Description

The Small Bead Frame helps a child transition to a more abstract understanding of the decimal system, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of thousand numbers.

This deck allows the child to practice forming numbers on the small bead frame. Once the child can form numbers, they can progress to operations using the small bead frame.

This resource is great for teaching the concept of:

Using Dynamic Addition to add up to 4-digit Numbers on the Small Bead Frame.

I have task/command cards and a material analysis for the small bead frame in my store here:

Forming Numbers, Addition, and Subtraction on the Small Bead Frame (printable) including Material Analysis

The first cards contain simple instructions.

Then, your children/students can drag and drop the beads in the bead frame to form the number or solve the addition problem (depending on the deck you are using). The Boom Deck will provide immediate feedback and allow for multiple attempts until the correct number is formed on the frame.

There are 24 cards in this deck.
