Description
This paper uses the Montessori color-coding system to reinforce students' understanding of place value as they work with addition, subtraction, and multiplication, on the small bead frame and large bead frame.
Three pages are included.
The first 2 pages include place value up to the thousands place for the small bead frame. One page is the traditional SBF paper which extends vertically down the entire page, for children adding many addends. The other SBF paper is differentiated by segmenting the sheet into space for 4 equations. This encourages children to increase their stamina by completing at least 4 equations in one sitting.
The third page includes place value up to the millions place for use with the large bead frame.
Each page has a designated space for children to record which task cards they worked on, increasing children's ownership of record keeping.
