The Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment scores from previous school years are now available to all educators for careful analysis. It's important to use our students' data to identify their strengths and needs in order to inform our instruction. This Excel spreadsheet can be used to compile your class' overall performance level and scale scores for both English Language Arts and Mathematics. It is formatted to highlight students' overall performance levels in color based on Not Met, Nearly Met, Met, and Exceeded. This provides a quick glance at how students' performed on the assessment. In addition, the sheet will automatically calculate the average scale scores of the entire class for English Language Arts and Mathematics. Use the sheet to organize your students' scores and as a tool for instructional planning to meet their strengths and needs.
