Have your students use the snowball ruler to measure the winter themed pictures in this nonstandard units of measure activity. This measurement activity can be used for a worksheet, an assessment, or a math center activity. It covers CCSS K.MD.A.1 and K.MD.A.2. Pre-K students can use it as a challenge and it can also be used for first graders who need a little extra help.
