Here are the materials you will need to have your students create their own snowman glyph. They will begin by learning what a glyph is. They will look at a model glyph and analyze it for the meaning conveyed through its details. Then they will read step by step directions and create their own. Finally they will analyze a partners. This is a fun activity to do during the cold winter months! When they are done the glyphs can be used to create a fun classroom bulletin board!! Note: I'm selling another version of this in my store for older students that includes math problems analyzing the glyphs. Be careful not to confuse the two!)
