Description

This snowman math creation gives students hands-on practice with solving addition and subtraction equations. Students will use the circles to build a snowman to solve an equation.

Students can use the buttons or the numbers to add and subtract. The head of the snowman provides the answer to the equation.

After building a snowman, students write the equation and answer on the recording sheet.

Each piece also contains a square around it for ease of cutting them out!

Please be sure to check out our website to read our blog, download freebies & handouts in the Resource Center, see where Mr. Greg will be making appearances in the Events tab, and more. Visit our website here: The Kindergarten Smorgasboard.

This resource has been so helpful in practicing addition strategies with my students. It works well for my kiddos with a need for highly visual supports and can be differentiated up for my numerical readers.
