Description

If you're after a fun winter activity to get your students practicing their measuring skills, then these adorable snowmen will do it!

Students measure and make a snowman using any combination of heads, middles, bases and accessories, which will give you a great display of snowmen and women of all different heights.

The recording sheet has students measuring different parts of their snowmen but also comparing the height of their snowmen with a shorter and taller one giving lots of measuring practice.

These would look great on a bulletin board, so I’ve included a bulletin board phrase too, if you need it.

There are lots of options to meet your needs:

  • Edit the recording sheet to meet your needs.
  • Make a smaller version or larger version.
  • No units are mentioned so you can use whichever unit your students are comfortable with.

I hope your students have fun making and measuring their snowmen!
