Description

This project-based learning activity is a fantastic way to get students involved in helping others while practicing several ELA skills. Two versions are included: print it as a packet or share the digital Google file.

Skills included:

• Main/Central Idea

• Drawing Inferences

• Referring to Details

• Vocabulary/Word Meaning

• Interpreting Information

• Write/Speak About a Subject Knowledgeably

As a part of this project, students will be learning about the importance of social distancing and what people are doing to help others struggling during this difficult time. Then, they'll create their own project to make a difference.

*This project will likely take 1-2 weeks, depending on how much time you have for ELA each day.
