Description

Social Emotional Learning strategies for Pre-K through 1st, homeschool, or ESE classroom! Students will love the routine of creating their own emoji each morning as a quick way to start the day and get a "temperature check" on their emotions. The whole class will engage in discussions about their emoji and why they choose to illustrate a specific type of face.

If you need a resource for a student that needs extra attention, use the Check In/Check Out system daily with recorded responses. The student gets the benefit of speaking with an adult about how they feel at the beginning and end of the day, and you will be able to track any patterns over time and compile data to begin problem solving.
